Notes for Augusta ‘Gussie’ Ottille (Spouse 1)
Notes:
1. After the death of NN Wojewski (her father), Rosalie Szlas (her mother) married Valentine Jagla (1873). Augusta Wojewska adopted the Jagla family name and became Augusta Jagla (Yagley). Augusta Jagla (Yagley) appears in the 1880 U. S. Federal Census (Detroit, Michigan) as a daughter of Valentine and Rosalia Jagla. Augusta Wojewska apperas in the 1881 St. Albertus Marriage Records.
2. Verbal family history (per Joanne Eckhardt Thomas, Jul, 2008) indicates Augusta was known as ‘Aunt
Gussie’.
