“Albert had a lifelong career as a professional musician and music teacher. He played many professional venues on baritone, cello, tuba, and string bass for many places in rural Kansas and in the Kansas City, MO area from the mid-1930's through the early 1960's, among which were: The Kansas City Philharmonic (cello), Ararat Shrine Temple Band (tuba and conductor), Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus (tuba) over a 25-year period when they'd have
shows in Kansas City, MO., Station WDAF resident musician (tuba) of Kansas City, MO. He often played upright string bass for many dance band venues. His Lawson, Ray County, Missouri High School band attended and performed at the New York City 1964-1965 World's Fair. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, movies, football, sewing, participating in many sports (as a young man), and his family.”
